city squared...[part one]

its such a surprise that when you take an interest in photography that you start to look at the world in squares. i'm constantly framing a scene in my head, grabbing my plastic camera and capturing what i've just envisaged... another surprising part of analogue photography is the anticipation of waiting for the little square photos to arrive in the mail. you just don't know how the photos are going to turn out, sometimes i even forget what i've taken. its a pleasant change to have to wait and see in a world were instant gratification is the norm.

in a series of posts called "city squared", i'll be posting some of my favourite images of cities i've captured. i hope you enjoy.
